Project 1

Marche Gortesque

In this project, I tend to create something unique, which is a lot different that classic blazers; My aesthetic to this project is untraditional, asymmetrical, multiple natural drapes, my capsule collection shows a strong sense of avant-gard and a beautiful Marche Grotesque.

Senses of Nuclear Radiation

This project was inspired by a TV show: Chernobyl. On April 26th,1986, there was a horrible nuclear disaster happened in the Chernobyl power plant. It was considered the worst nuclear accident so far. Then, I also found out that there are 45 nuclear reactors in mainland China, which is the country that my family live in. Just imagine how scary if one of those reactors exploded by any chance. I felt panic for my country and all of the citizens. Therefore, I decided to do the story of Chernobyl as one of my projects.

THIRTY THREE
FYI: I'M ABOUT TO LOVE YOU

Five Stages of Grief

This project was inspired by a book that read called on Death and
Dying by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. In her book, she mentioned the  five stages of grief, which I found it very interesting and reasonable. The 5 stages of grief is a healing process after severe mental traumas. The 5 stages are Denial, Anger, Bargaining ,Depression, and Acceptance.

Five Stages of Grief Video: Performance Art Video

During the process of finishing my last project. I found out that shooting a video can be relevant to the theme of the five sense of grief, especially for each stages, people's feelings can be presented in body movements, and significant behaviors. After all, the project of the five stages of grief is a complicated topic for people to understand. That was when the idea of making a video first came up to me for doing such an abstract project.

THE MOON IS PINK

Club Kids

80s punk shocked the world with its aggressive, unconventional and artistic exploitation of music and fashion. This outburst from the post-war generation of angry, unemployed youth was infectious. Their extreme views on politics, music and fashion took the world by storm. Punks began to symbolize anarchy and insurgence, eventually testing and enlarging the gap from their previous generations. This was about fighting oppression and having the freedom to rebel.
